Beautiful worshipping angel, 88 cm high, probably carved in fir and patinated. Draped in a savant manner, this angel displays a graceful, theatrical posture. It is carved in a remarkably soft manner, strengthening its lively appearance.
Some lacks and accidents. Very good preservation. Provenance: Mounted as torchere in the nineteenth century. French public sale.
