City Hall project for Paris circa 1770-1780 - Charles Maréchaux

Public building project qualified as a town hall for Place Dauphine in Paris. We can place this project in the years 1770-80 because of its neoclassical character.
Charles Maréchaux received the first prize in architecture at the Royal Academy in 1755 for a project of a sepulchral chapel (the drawings kept at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris).
Inscription: "Cut and elevation of the main courtyard".
Annotated on the back: "Maréchau / pupil of Gabriel / Project for a town hall Place Dauphine in Paris".
Pen and black ink heightened with watercolour.
Drawing : 21 cm by 51.5 cm.
