Pair of gilt and polychrome wood angels circa 1500

These angels belonged to a gallery of angels carrying the instruments of the Passion, of which only one of our angels preserves the attributes.

Important remains of the original gilding, enhanced with painted ornaments.
Visible lacks including wings.

Origin: possibly Picardie or Champagne, early 16th century
Height : 57 cm
